Charles Tony Piccuta Completes Olympic Distance Triathlon in Flagstaff, Arizona
On July 9, 2017, Charles Tony Piccuta completed the Mountain Man Triathlon in Flagstaff, Arizona. The Mountain Man Triathlon is an Olympic distance triathlon situated in Coconino National Forest. The swim component takes place in the Upper Lake Mary Reservoir. The running component includes a grueling ascent through a forested area.
This is the second year in a row that Piccuta has completed the Mountain Man Triathlon. The triathlon requires a .93 mile swim, 24.8 mile bike and 6.2 mile run. The elevation of Flagstaff, Arizona is over 6,900 feet.
